2020 HILTON EFFECT GRANTS
The Hilton Effect Foundation recognizes the impact that COVID-19 has had on communities worldwide. In response, the Foundation focused its 2020 Hilton Effect grants on organizations that are driving inclusive recovery and community resiliency, especially for locations and populations that have been most severely impacted by the virus.
The grants prioritized addressing urgent human needs: food security, sanitation/hygiene, economic security, and clean air and water. Grants were also prioritized for organizations leading projects that support groups that have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), minority communities, youth, migrant laborers, and refugees.
