The Hilton Effect Foundation honors the legacy of Hilton’s founder, who started the world’s first hospitality company 100 years ago to spread international peace through travel.
The Hilton Effect Foundation is our company's primary international philanthropic arm. The Foundation will invest in efforts that help us meet our Travel with Purpose 2030 Goals to cut our environmental footprint in half and double our social impact investment.
Foundation grants are awarded throughout the year in accordance with tax and legal requirements. The Foundation is a nonprofit established in the United States. We are in the process of registering as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
The Hilton Effect Foundation will fund projects around the world led by our teams and nonprofit partners that are having a positive impact on our communities. Signature programs include:
Hilton Effect Grants will be awarded annually to nonprofits that are improving travel destinations, creating economic opportunities for all, and helping us advance our Travel with Purpose 2030 Goals to cut our environmental footprint in half and double our social impact investment.
In celebration of Hilton's 100th anniversary, the Foundation announced the first Hilton Effect Grants - 15 investments that will positively impact the lives of thousands, and amplify the Hilton Effect in more than 20 communities around the world. These grants will help develop the next generation through skills training, support communities rebounding from natural disasters, and help communities facing water scarcity.
